Apostles of the New Springtime - Fall 2024

Fall semester begins Saturday, September 7th at St. Katharine Drexel in the Blessed Stanley Rother meeting room.

Join us at 6:30am for coffee & donuts, program begins at 7:00am and concludes at 8:00am.

OBJECTIVES: We will witness the lives of the Apostles as evidence of the Resurrection and proof of Pentecost. We will journey through the Glorious Mysteries to see the infinite goodness of God triumph over evil. This breathtaking journey will take us to Rome, Lourdes, Fatima and Paris. We will encounter how the faith spread from Jesus Christ to the Apostles, the Apostolic Fathers, the Early Church Fathers down to a modern Saint. The fall semester will prepare our hearts for how the same Lord is sending the same Holy Spirit to stir within our hearts and send us forth today

EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF TRANSFORMATION AS YOU DISCOVER:

• The victory of Jesus Christ over sin and death itself.

• The five Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary.

• The lives of the Apostles as clear and compelling evidence of the Resurrection and proofs of Pentecost.

• The faith and witness of the Apostolic Fathers, those direct successors of the Apostles.

• The struggle, toil, hesitation and eventually the transformation of St. Augustine.

• How this call to sainthood and apostleship continues throughout the ages to our very day.

• The vision of Paradisus Dei and how we understand the mission field that God has called us into.

• Your own calling and your personal mission field.

• A new springtime of Christianity and encounter the same Spirit that was poured out at Pentecost!

Apostles of the New Springtime

is an interactive men’s program focused on the development of male leadership in the modern world. It combines the best research from science with the teachings of the Catholic faith and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of authentic men capable of transforming themselves, their families and greater society.

Journey from fear to fearless worship, from a lifeless corpse hanging on the cross to an empty tomb, from Apostles hiding in the upper room to proclaiming the risen Lord to the ends of the earth! Beginning with Christ to the Apostles, to the Apostolic Fathers, to the men of our day, God hasn’t stopped calling us! Let us become who we were made to be and set the world on fire. May we become Apostles of the New Springtime!

Join us for fellowship and discussion every Saturday morning.

Coffee and snacks available all morning, socializing from 6:30-7:00 am, video and group discussion from 7:00 am -8:00 am.

All men 18 years and older are always invited to attend St. Katharine Drexel’s That Man Is You mens group.  Each session follows a yearly theme but is independent of each other. – attend as many as you like without being out of sync!  We’d enjoy meeting you at any session!

The “That Man is You!” program honestly addresses pressures and temptations facing men in our modern culture, especially those seen with men in relationships, husbands and fathers. In new families or in ones with empty nesters or single parents, the program brings together current social and medical science with the Church teachings and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of a man fully alive.  Hear attendees’ real life experiences in small group discussions and get to meet more men like you!

Independent research by a Faith Advisor from the Gallup Poll reveals That Man is You! to be one of the most life-transforming programs ever studied. Research indicates that men entering the program in the bottom quartile on the Gallup Poll Spirit Commitment Index frequently finish the program 26 weeks later “well into the top quartile.”

True to its stated goals, this transformation is most profoundly seen in marriage and family life, men’s issues including pornography and balancing work demands, and a greater participation in parish life.
